Barefoot and Oreo team up to create a new wine? Maybe not [update]

So, remember how excited we were when we discovered that the Oreo biscuit red wine mixture can be consumed outdoors? Hmm...I hope you are not too excited.

It looks like barefoot wine fooled all of us. I came across this while looking for something to talk about during food news.

Yes, it looks like the whole thing is a publicity stunt. According to @foodiewiththebeasts on Instagram, no one really gets any wine. Or are they?

In my understanding, on the day it was supposed to go on sale, the website already said it was sold out. Then a pop-up window will ask for your email so they can send you a notification when wine is available. This should be Thursday (December 9, 2021).

I also saw an account. The tie went on sale at 10 AM. It looks like you can order it, but then someone will be asked to checkout. Again, a pop-up window asks to send an email to send a notification when wine is available.

More and more companies are doing such gimmicks. It is so tricky and misleading that I rarely write new products because such things happen. Sometimes the company will ask you to sign up for some kind of sweepstakes to win a new product. All of this is for your email to be used in their database. This is all part of their advertising and marketing strategy.

To make a long story short, I don't think there are any barefoot Oreo red blends, which is very bad. If I find a difference, I will let you know.

Speaking of cookies, my favorite is Oreo. I like them very much, and my favorite ice cream also involves them. However, when it comes to wine, I might also choose my favorite because I am obsessed with Oreo cookies. I know that even typing sounds strange. When I saw Oreo working with Barefoot wines on Instagram, I have to admit that this article caught my attention. Combining red wine with the flavors of chocolate and vanilla reminds me of another favorite of mine, chocolate strawberry dipped in whipped cream. No? I know this is an extension, but please, it does sound similar in the type of flavor mix. So, for this reason, I went all out. Introducing Barefoot Oreo Thins Red Blend wine. https://youtu.be/D2VG39nCR7U According to the press release,

For only $24.99, you will receive two bottles of Oreos, which will be shipped to you after packing.

You can only find it online starting tomorrow, Thursday, December 9. Just visit BarefootWine.com/OreoThins.

I don't know when they will start discounting, but you better believe that the bottle set will sell quickly.
