Bus passengers on a busy route in Bristol had to get off and walk this morning after fallen scaffolding blocked the road.

Footage taken by a passenger of the number 43 bus, travelling from Kingswood to the city centre, shows the aftermath of the chaos caused by Storm Arwen overnight.

Metal scaffolding had fallen from a building onto Clouds Hill Road, St George, blocking the route of the bus heading for town at around 5.20am.
