SRG Global has won seven contracts including Rio Tinto and Roy Hill, while Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has won jobs in BHP Billiton’s Pilbara Accommodation Village.

SRG Global has won seven contracts including Rio Tinto and Roy Hill Holdings, while Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has won jobs in the Pilbara Accommodation Village of BHP Billiton.

The total value of the contracts awarded to SRG is approximately US$110 million.

These include the extension of a three-year contract with Roy Hill to continue to provide shutdown and maintenance services for the iron ore miner’s Pilbara business.

The second three-year contract involves maintenance support for Goldfields' "main nickel and cobalt business", while the third contract involves the provision of engineering access services for Fonterra's dairy business in New Zealand.

SRG also received a one-year contract extension from Transpower NZ and Refining NZ, the latter operating the only oil refinery in New Zealand at Marsden Point and continuing to provide industrial and coating services.

In Queensland, Subiaco-based SRG won an 18-month contract from Rio Tinto to provide shutdown scaffolding and refractory services for the mining giant's alumina refinery in Gladstone.

SRG Managing Director David Macgeorge said that the company's asset services division is continuing to grow in different divisions and locations with blue chip clients.

"These fixed-term contracts recently won further prove that SRG Global continues to execute its growth strategy. Two-thirds of the annuity income and one-third of the project-based income are highlighted, which prepares us for long-term sustainable growth. ,"He said.

At the same time, Perth-based Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Company won a $15 million contract from BHP Billiton's iron ore division to complete the upgrade of multiple accommodation locations in the Pilbara.

Specifically, SCEE will upgrade access, lighting and monitoring systems.

Work under the contract has already begun and is expected to be completed in June next year.

SCEE Managing Director Graeme Dunn said that in accordance with the diversification strategy in recent years, the contract is an example of the wide range of services the group provides to customers.

Earlier this month, SCEE won the largest contract to date for the construction of Sydney’s new $5.3 billion international airport. The contract value is more than 100 million U.S. dollars.

At 12:12 pm Australian Eastern Time, SCEE's share price rose 1.5%, trading at 68 cents.

SRG Global's share price rose 3% to 52 cents.
