The little details you missed in the trailer for The New Spider-Man: No Way Home

The Marvel Cinematic Universe spent a very eventful 2020 on the bench, but in 2021, the superheroes returned to the movie in a grand manner. "Black Widow", "Legend of Shangzhi and the Ten Rings" and "Eternal Race" all swept the theater in their own unique ways. However, no matter how popular and successful these games are, they always find themselves in the shadow of MCU's third Spider-Man project-"Spider-Man: Nowhere to Go", which has dominated online discussions for many years. .

At the end of the last MCU Spider-Man movie, J. Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons) of The Daily Horn shockedly defeated Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as a child under the Spider-Man mask. To make matters worse, Jameson also accused him of murdering the mystery guest (Jack Gyllenhaal) and letting the public oppose cyber hooligans. Now, in "No Way", Peter seems to turn to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), hoping to let him use his magic so that this misfortune will never happen. The Supreme Mage did this (or, at least, this is what the trailer implies), but it seems to have caused a multi-universe disaster in the process.

In August 2021, the first trailer of "No Way Home" was released online. It can be said that fans have completely lost their minds. They encountered returning villains, headaches, etc... but it was not enough. It didn't take long for Marvel fans to ask for a second trailer, and Marvel Pictures and Sony Pictures finally agreed.

In addition to giving us a better understanding of the content of this movie, our latest view on "No Way Home" is full of small details that you may have missed.

The "No Way Home" trailer is full of interesting similarities and can serve as a callback to the former Spider-Man movie. When MJ falls from the scaffolding, perhaps the biggest reference to an old movie is at the end of the trailer, it looks like Peter may or may not save her in time. We see that their hands are almost together, but we have to wait for the movie to see if MJ is saved.

Fans of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" may well have returned to the tragic moment in the movie when Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone) fell from the clock tower and died. Peter (Andrew Garfield) tried his best to save her, but even if his net locked her at the last second, there was no time to stop her from hitting the ground. The photography in "No Way Home" shows MJ falling in exactly the same way-when she falls in slow motion, widen her eyes and enlarge her face. Let us only hope that MJ's fall will have better results. Rip Gwen.

It is worth noting that Kirsten Dunst, the first MJ actress, also had a dramatic fall scene in 2002's "Spider-Man", but fortunately, she survived. Fingers crossed, this time too.

As almost all "Spider-Man: Homeless" marketing materials reveal, Tom Holland's Spider-Man will fight villains from multiple "Spider-Man" movie franchises. Yes, even the critically acclaimed "Fantastic Spider-Man" series has begun to act. Rees Evans's "Lizard" and Jamie Fox's "Electro" will return again. The former Dr. Cort Conners looks roughly the same as his performance in 2012's "The Amazing Spider-Man", but this sentiment does not apply to his exhilarating companion, and his appearance is completely new.

When "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" was released in 2014, fans were not too keen on Electro's updated appearance. The sparkling blue skin and black catsuit did not remind fans of the legendary Spider-Man enemy at all, echoing the visual effects of the comic version of "Ultimate Spider-Man," rather than the classic incarnation that everyone likes. Fortunately, "No Way Home" seems to correct this creative mistake by giving Max Dillon a more Steve Dittko-style aesthetic.

The second trailer shows all the glory of the lightning mask of the new and improved Electro, completely discarding the neon blue. Of course, this begs the question: whether this version of the character is the same as the character in the "Fantastic Spider-Man" sequel, or-if we look for clues to the multiverse from the Disney series "Rocky"-it is a variant NS? Electricity? We can only wait and see.

A big focus of the new "Spider-Man: No Way To Go" trailer is about how all these villains "should" fight Spider-Man and die. The Spider-Man played by Tom Holland is his good guy, and it seems—or at least as the trailer suggests—he wants to save them somehow, even if he fights them.

Perhaps this shows that the villain of "Nowhere to Return" is not an old villain. What if there is a bigger enemy behind all this? After all, in the trailer, Alfred Molina's Doc Ock seems to be a strange mentor to Peter, which is in line with his sympathetic interpretation in Spider-Man 2.

Of course, it’s worth noting that, as we all know, the trailers of MCU movies are misleading, so who knows if anything shown here is what actually happened in the movie.

Another factor to consider here is the role of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in the movie. Although he seems to really want to help Peter solve the mess they created together, he also seems to run counter to Peter's obvious mission to save the villain from their destiny. Will there be a big conflict between the two? Doctor Strange is more of a villain than a supporting role, is it here? Similarly, misleading is an important tool in the MCU trailer script, but for movies, it will be an interesting direction.

Of all the shocking and exciting new reveals in the latest "Spider-Man: No Way To Go" trailer, we can say that we have the most from Dr. Octopus. However, although Octavian himself is very familiar, his famous tentacles are somewhat different.

This change appeared in two scenes of Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the trailer. When you look closely, the tentacles appear to have a red coating (or shell?), which is not available in Spider-Man 2. This color may indicate Stark technology. The reason is not clear, but it may be related to Doc Ock's entry into the MCU. For example, did he steal the Stark technique from Peter's Spiderman costume and rework it to fit his tentacles? If anyone can beat Tony Stark, it will be the brilliant Otto Octavius. Did he break into Stark's facility and take a peek in person? Either way, the upgraded Doc Ock is not what Spider-Man should be happy to see.

In the first trailer of "No Way Home", the villain we will see in the movie has subtle hints. The only certainty is the appearance of Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), who appears waving his metal tentacles as he did in the past. Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Lizard (Rhys Ifans) have all been hinted, but we have never seen them directly.

All this changed in the second trailer. Here, we got the positive opinions of all four bad guys, and we even heard some conversations between Electro and Green Goblin. This undoubtedly confirms that Peter (and his company) will compete with a group of super villains, who have long been rumored to be a sinister six-man group.

But if so, who is the sixth villain? In this regard, will there be a sixth villain? The super villain team in the comic book will certainly not be called the Sinister Five, but if there is a sixth villain in the combination, then Sony and Marvel Studios have done a great job of retaining this mysterious character. The biggest fan speculation on the Internet indicates that the sixth member is Condor (Michael Keaton), Mystery (Jack Gyllenhaal) or Venom (Tom Hardy). Everyone has a great chance to appear in the movie, after all, maybe we will see more than six villains.

One of the most incredible shots in the "No Way Home" trailer is drawing to a close as Peter flies in the air to electronics, Sandman, and the lizard. Although we will never rule out our Spider-Man, this is an unfair battle, and it seems that Peter has no chance. Fortunately, this does not seem to be a three-on-one battle.

Judging from the position of the characters in this scene, where they are facing, and where they seem to be going, this is definitely a three-on-three battle. The only villain who seemed to have attacked Peter was Sandman, who kept staring at him. Lizard's position seemed to pass by Peter easily, and Electro seemed to face up, away from Web-Slinger. This is most likely a scene where Peter and two other Spider-Man — if the rumors of the past year are correct, it is Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield — teaming up to attack the super villain.

Marvel trailers are known for editing characters and objects, and it is very likely that they will be deleted from this key scene in order to preserve their appearance for the final movie.

Spider-Man of MCU is no stranger to overcoming insurmountable difficulties and villains of all shapes and sizes. In addition to bravely confronting Thanos (played by Josh Brolin) many times, he has already imprisoned Adrian Toums, better known as the Condor (Michael Keaton) He ended up in prison and thwarted the evil plan of Quentin's "mystery" Baker. However, it is obvious that in "No Way Home", he fights against multiple super-powered thieves at the same time, and he bites a little bit more than he can chew. To make matters worse, the loud J. Jonah Jameson will be there to watch this happen.

After making the editor-in-chief of "The Daily Horn" a highlight in director Sam Raimi's "Spiderman" trilogy, JK Simmons returns with a new version of J. Jonah Jameson through "Far from Home" . He no longer ranted orders to his newspaper staff, but is now a talk show host who clearly dislikes Spider-Man. His return in 2019 was a huge surprise for moviegoers, making them wonder whether it was just a one-off or whether Simmons would be involved for a long time. The second "No Way Home" trailer provided the answer by showing fans a quick glance of the MCU frowning and bearded Jameson on a city street. Time will tell us how much screen time he will score this time.

As early as when the first trailer of "Spider-Man: No Way To Go" came out, we knew how all the chaos in the movie happened: Peter asked Doctor Strange to cast a spell to make everyone forget the person behind. Spiderman's mask. When the spell is called, Peter is worried that Aunt May (Marissa Tomei), Ned (Jacob Batalon), and MJ (Zandaya) will not remember who he is.

The "No Way Home" trailer seemed to confirm that the spell did not go as planned. Or is it?

Throughout the trailer, MJ and Ned seem to know that Peter is Spider-Man at different points in time. Admittedly, no trailers are put together in chronological order, so this is not certain, but it does seem that Doctor Strange cannot complete his spell—or if he did, the loved ones named by Peter somehow were spared Huge memory loss. Either way, given the fact that there is a bunch of multiverse madness happening now, it seems that Peter's constant chatter during the summoning really opened things up, and it's better to shut up... Let’s assume again that this is not Marvel using the trailer again. The film misled us.

"Spider-Man: No Way To Go" will be released on December 17.
