Since many of us still stay at home and have nothing to do, many people across the country turn to DIY projects to entertain themselves.

Instagram user Abbie from Sheffield demonstrated her incredible DIY skills in a video uploaded to her account recently.

This video shows you how to use B&Q's scaffolding boards to build an 8-seater dining table, each retailing for only £13.

Although most tables of this size cost at least £200, this couple shows you how to make a table for less than £90.

The title of the video reads: "If you don't want to spend a fortune on a bigger table, then'build ab****'.

"DIY dining table...can accommodate up to 8 people, and the price is about £80 (assuming you have prepared wax and sandpaper as I did)."

She first placed four scaffolding boards on the floor and made sure they were evenly aligned.

Then she took two thick pieces of wood and placed them horizontally on the plank so that they could be connected.

Although not shown in the video, she then screwed the thick planks onto the planks to connect them firmly.

Then place the top of the table on a box for the final step.

Next, they sanded the boards and sealed the wood with varnish and beeswax.

After the varnish and seal were dry, the couple attached the legs they purchased to the top of the table.

They chose the popular modern style metal pins and said they bought four of them from Amazon for £36.

In the comments, Abbie said that they added four extra brackets to the table legs to make it sturdy.

The end result is incredible, and it looks much more expensive than the actual construction cost.

One user wrote: "Oh, this is impressive. Looks great xx"

Another user responded: "This is a really good idea!"

The third person commented: "Ruddy is great!"
