35-year-old Gawayne Forbes is a self-employed in Waltham Forest. He completed the CISRS Advanced Scaffolding course at Simian's London School of Sustainable Architecture (LASC) and took some steps to develop his career.
Gawayne used one of our training packages* and is currently building his Level 3 NVQ, and plans to return to LASC in December to complete a two-day skill test, which will enable him to receive his CISRS Advanced Scaffolding Card.
Speaking of his time at SIMIAN, Gawayne said:
"Completing the advanced scaffolding course will really help my career development and mean that I can work on more complex scaffolding and increase my income potential. The practical and theoretical knowledge I have gained is a real confidence booster, and I look forward to Put it into practice."

The London School of Sustainable Architecture is operated by SIMIAN on behalf of the London Waltham Forest Commission. This is a unique facility located in the heart of Waltham Forest. The core of its operation is to provide skills and employment opportunities for residents of Waltham Forest and the wider London community.
