The popular pizza company Dough Bros will open a brand new venue on Cleethorpes Street.

So far, Dough Bros is headquartered in Freeman Street Market, but recent success means that they can now realize their dream of opening their own restaurant.

It will open this Friday, October 22.

Co-owner Danny Smith said: "If people have visited us before, they will know what they get from us.

"We make 20-inch New York-style pizza by slice. It will still be available, so you can drop by and eat a slice of pizza soon.

"We now have a lot of seats. We will provide counter service, a bit like five people, so you order at the bar and find a seat. The food will still be in the takeaway package, so there won’t be the crockery and the usual restaurant tables. glassware.

“For the restaurant, we expanded the menu a bit. We have Dirty Fries, Jalapeño Vibes and Chicken Chunxxx.

"We have a license now, so we will provide alcohol. All alcohol is in jars because we will not put any glasses in this place. Even the alcohol we find will be in cans."

The venue also prepares live music performances to make it more special for diners.

Danny said: "We have a carpeted stage area, so we can have live music. If there are any bands who want to play, we can now pay them with pizza and beer because we have spent all the money. Up in this place!

"Most of the work we did ourselves was to save costs. Steve made the table with scaffolding boards. The bar was also built with scaffolding boards.

"We finally found our place, which makes us very excited. We just hope that people are as excited as we are."

The new restaurant will open at 5 pm on Friday.

Opening hours are from noon to midnight from Thursday to Sunday.

Unfortunately, the old site of Dough Bros at Freeman Street Market will now be closed so that the team can devote all their energy to the new restaurant.

Speaking of their old site, Danny said it was "a huge shame."

"We got the market stall in May of this year, but we had the opportunity to occupy this place in Cleethorpes, so we couldn't refuse.

"We really like it there. The people on Freeman Street are very smart.

"Shout out on Freeman Street!"
